Wags & Snags
WorkSafe - Safeness in Design
This studio was in collaboration with WorkSafe which focused on enabling an ageing workforce through pre-emptive, progressive and innovative thinking.
Wags & Snags is a mobile program, running in conjunction with sausage sizzle and therapy dogs that aims to deliver mental health service in a subtle yet entertaining way to construction workers. The goal is to get people recognize and accept their mental health problems and to do so without shame.

Our Solution
Our service would exist as an hour-long program during lunch breaks in Smoko rooms. The workers can access the “Tough Tradie Toolkit” through either by hidden napkin barcode given with sausage sizzle or by bluetooth linked therapy dogs. These methods ensure everyone has access to the link without arousing suspicion or singling people out. Afterwards, through answering a series of 10 curated questions, workers would receive their score and suggestions to improve their mental health.
The design solution has 3 important elements which are -
1. Therapy Dogs
2. Tough tradie toolkit
3. Napkin Barcode
